The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. is an organization of mothers, fathers, family members, and friends who have loved ones currently serving, or that have served,
in the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
We are a non-profit (501[c]3) service organization supporting each other and our children
while promoting patriotism.
We come together monthly to share our pride, worries, and devotion to our troops. We ask questions, voice our concerns, learn about services available, and discuss ways to promote community support for our troops.
We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the
American Legion Post,
307 Charles St.
Humble, TX 77338.
Sign-in is at 6:45 pm and the meeting starts at 7:00 pm.

Eligibility
An individual is eligible for membership in the corporation if:
(1) She is a mother specifically defined as “any woman who has filled the role of birthmother, adoptive mother, stepmother, foster mother, grandmother, or legal guardian of a service member at any time in that service members’ life” who
• is currently serving in any branch of the Armed Forces of the United States; or
• has served and been discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States; and
(2) She is citizen or legal resident alien (a permanent resident is someone who has been granted authorization to live and work in the United States on a permanent basis) living in the United States or citizen living outside the United States (stationed or living outside the United States).
Individuals who do not qualify for Membership, as stated above, may join as Associate Members. These Members are not required to pay dues nor do they have any rights to hold office or vote.
